Fixed Term Maternity Cover

Wellingborough School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our Learning Development Team. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils with a range of learning needs through in-class support, small group interventions, and personalised teaching programmes.

We are looking for someone with experience of supporting young people, knowledge of SEND, strong organisational skills, and a genuine commitment to helping pupils achieve their full potential.

Start Date: 1st October 2026

Contract type: Fixed Term, 10/2026-05/2027

Salary: £18,393 for the fixed term period 1/10/26 - 31/05/2026

Reporting to: Head of Learning Development

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.30-4.30 (part-time options considered)
