Full Job Description
Ramsbottom Stubbins Primary School are currently looking to recruit a HLTA on a part-time basis (3 days per week- Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) from September to cover a maternity leave. The role may include (but is not limited to) PPA cover, interventions and in class support. Please note that in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025, an online search will be carried out as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates. This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro -rata basis. - GCSE Grade C equivalent Maths and English, Externally assessed HLTA status
- Meeting the HLTA professional standards
- Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to work towards)
- QTS
- Licensed Thrive Practitioner
- ELSA Essential Experience
- Successful significant relevant experience of working with children of primary age within a learning environment.
- Supporting/ teaching whole class classes (not just small groups)
- Plan and deliver learning activities
- Ability to support pupils with a wide rage of need
