Full Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity within the Highways Operation Centre (HOC) in the Highways Licences and Encroachments Team. We're looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking individual to support the delivery of a high quality, efficient and customer focused highways service for residents, partners and colleagues across Hampshire., This is a key role within a fast paced operational environment where attention to detail, clear communication and high quality customer service are critical. As a Highways Support Officer, you will be responsible for processing licences and enquiries, supporting core workflows, assisting with third party hedge cutting processes, and handling vehicle crossing applications. Your work will play an important part in maintaining the efficient and effective operation of the team. You will work closely with colleagues across the Highways Operation Centre, contractors, engineers and partner services to ensure we meet statutory obligations and deliver timely, accurate information. You will also contribute to wider team resilience by supporting seasonal and cross team processes as required.
