You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor. Our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What will you be doing?



  • You'll work as part of a team undertaking highways repairs, ranging from potholes, patching, drainage, footways and general highway maintenance.

  • You'll use technology (tablets/apps) to input safety data and maintenance records.

  • Driving and operating plant and equipment where trained, necessary for the day-to-day tasks set.

  • We'll ask you to take responsibility for vehicles/plant/materials in your charge.

  • Where appropriate, provide direction/supervision of the work to less experienced operatives.

  • Part of the role is to undertake winter and emergency maintenance out of hours activities on a standby rota.


What you'll bring



  • Do you have a clean driving license?

  • A commitment to health and safety

  • Good communication skills and basic literacy and numeracy

  • LGV Class C driving licence OR demonstrate capability to support investment of LGV Class C training during probationary period

  • Do you have a CSCS Card?

  • Ability to undertake a high level of manual work and work outdoors in all weathers.
