Highly Specialist Pharmacist Homecare Services

This role is essential to support, develop and improve all aspects of the Trust's Homecare services including a wide range of clinical specialties across all our sites.,

• To deliver on our responsibilities to ensure cost-effective and appropriate prescribing of homecare medicines
• To ensure that appropriate clinical and governance arrangements are in place for all medicines supplied via homecare as set out in the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) standards for homecare services.
• To link in with the regional homecare lead and assist with regionally led initiatives related to Homecare
• To liaise with NHSE Clinical Commissioning Pharmacist / Medicines Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist and relevant members of the Pharmacy Management team in the delivery of operational aspects of homecare services.
• To liaise with the Associate Director of Pharmacy Operations / Medicines Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist to develop Homecare services via the Trust Outpatient provider
• To work with the Outpatients service provider leads on opening and maintenance of new and established Homecare services
