Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist Surgical, Vascular & Amputee

We are looking for a motivated, adaptable and enthusiastic team player to join our Therapy Team within the Surgical and Amputee Service in a 0.6 WTE permanent position. The role includes cross-cover across Vascular, Amputee and Surgical wards, alongside participation in the weekend service, offering the opportunity to work within a dynamic and specialist acute setting., To play a major and specialist role in the advanced assessment, treatment and clinical management of patients with vascular disease, and patients pre and post major amputation. Determining clinical diagnosis, functional deficits and occupational treatment program required.

To be dynamic in developing efficient and effective occupational therapy working processes to assist in producing a fully multi-professional team approach.

To work with the Clinical Lead Therapist to develop the service to best meet changing health and social care agendas.

The post is responsible for a team of staff in their clinical area and may be required to work in more than one speciality area.

The successful candidate will have a passion for Occupational Therapy, excellent communication skills, and the initiative and enthusiasm to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of the wider multidisciplinary team.
