Higher Level Teaching Assistant

The Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, delivering PPA cover and providing high-quality teaching and intervention support for whole classes, small groups and individual pupils. Working closely with teachers, the postholder will contribute to planning, preparing and delivering lessons, monitor pupil progress, support children with additional needs, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment. The role also involves promoting pupils' wellbeing, independence and achievement, supporting effective behaviour management, building positive relationships with parents and colleagues, and contributing to the wider life and Catholic ethos of the school.
