Full Job Description
The successful candidate will join the team from 2nd November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The role is temporary until August 2027. This part-time post, for 25 hours per week, will include covering PPA and Leadership time across the school. There may also be other roles as directed by the Headteacher.PPA time will be given to the successful candidate to facilitate this work. Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged. The salary quoted is full term equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be on a pro-rata basis. - Recognised and relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English and Mathematics
- Ability to operate at a level of understanding and competence equivalent to NVQ Level 4 standard Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ level 4 qualification or equivalent
- HLTA Qualification
- First aid/Paediatric First Aid Certificate Essential Experience
- Experience of planning, teaching and assessing learning opportunities effectively, in line with a school's curriculum
- Maintaining a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment, that fosters enjoyment of learning
- Experience of working in a primary classroom environment and following the EYFS/National Curriculum
- Providing class cover/PPA Desirable Experience
- Experience of teaching mixed-aged classes
- Lunchtime/playtime supervision
- Wider contributions to the life of the school
