Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our supportive team. Working closely with teachers and our wider multidisciplinary team, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality education, supporting personalised learning programmes and helping every pupil thrive both academically and personally. What you will be doing

• Supporting teachers by planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons and learning activities, including covering lessons when required.
• Delivering targeted interventions and adapting learning to meet the individual needs of pupils.
• Monitoring pupil progress and providing detailed feedback to teachers to support future learning.
• Promoting positive behaviour, independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing through consistent support and encouragement.
• Supporting the development of individual education plans, behaviour support strategies and other pupil documentation.
• Mentoring and supporting Teaching Assistants while working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and the wider school team.
  
  GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/Level 4 or above) or equivalent.
• Experience working with children with autism and/or additional learning needs, including supporting challenging behaviour.
• Experience planning and delivering learning activities or lessons.
• Excellent communication, organisation and IT skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
• The ability to adapt learning to individual pupils whilst promoting independence, confidence and achievement.
• Full UK driving licence is required
