Higher Level Teaching Assistant

SO1 (SCP 23-25) £34,434 - £36,363

Actual Salary: £29,747 - £31, 413

Contract: 37 Hours Per Week, Term Time Only + 1 Working Week

Fixed Term Contract until 31 August 2026

Hillcrest Academy is seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Higher Level Teaching Assistant. This role is of great importance to our work as an Academy. The successful candidate will work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff to support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

Potential applicants should have:

· The ability to work constructively as part of a team.

· Experience with working with or caring for children of relevant age.

· Good numeracy/literacy skills.

· Ability to support pupil's needs and asses this effectively.
