We're looking for a High Level Team Leader (Nights) who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules. Job Title: High Level Team Leader (Nights) Hourly Rate of Pay: £16.78 Contract Type: Permanent Type of Employment: Full Time Total Weekly Contractual Hours: 37.5 Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday from 20:30 - 05:00 Location: Heathrow Airport, Building 1156, Newall Road, Hounslow, Greater London, England TW6 2RZ Compulsory Requirements:

  • FULL UK DRIVERS LICENSE (HELD FOR MORE THAN 1 YEAR)
  • FULL 5 YEARS UK EMPLOYMENT HISTORY (NO GAPS)
  • ABILITY TO READ AND WRITE ENGLISH FLUENTLY AND COMMUNICATE TO A HIGH STANDARD
  • CONFIDENCE DRIVING A VAN
  • Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for the day-to-day provision of high-level soft services (cleaning, etc.) maintaining suitable client relationships, ensuring tasks are carried out in a safe manner, making every effort to complete works within the specified timescales.
  • Reporting into the Night High-level Cleaning Manager, to be responsible person for the high-level team.
  • Monitor the performance of all staff in the high-level team.
  • Maintain accurate staff attendance records and ensure the Signing-in Register is completed in line with contracted hours and that these records on reviewed on a daily basis.
  • Ensure allocated cleaning duties and areas are understood within the high-level team and ensuring that all areas of the sites are maintained and meet the needs of the contract and any relevant SLA's.
  • Ensure team members PIN in as required on site, at the time of arrival at site and PIN out on leaving site.
  • Ensure that High-level Operatives understand and adhere to the site rules and maintain a smart appearance, including the wearing of the MITIE uniform when carrying out their tasks.
  • Manage and control the issuing and usage of cleaning materials on site, making sure that the correct cleaning materials are used for the task in-hand.
  • Carry out a daily check of all cleaning machinery to make sure that it is in a safe working condition and reporting any faults to the High-level Manager.
  • Report all accidents and/or potential hazards to the LifeLine and relevant management and update appropriate records as necessary.
  • Review all equipment, storage areas and sluice rooms verifying that they are kept clean and that equipment and materials are left secured when not in use.
  • Ensure that all relevant safety signs are provided and used correctly by all High-level Operatives
  • Report any damage and safety defects on the premises to the Engineering Help Centre and log where appropriate.
  • Monitor the standard of work of the High-level team.
  • Respond to Customer complaints immediately in conjunction with the High-level Manager.
  • Attend appropriate training sessions to update knowledge of access equipment, materials and company procedures.
  • Ensure all areas within the premises are cleaned to the required frequency and SLA's. Complete stock control/order sheets as directed by the High-level Manager.
  • To ensure all High-level Operatives are aware of Company/Client statutory fire and safety regulations and provide good safety methods of work.
  • To deliver toolbox talks to all cleaning operatives.
  • To undertake any other related duties which are within the job holder's capability, according to the needs of the business.
  • Maintain the highest standards of presentation, personal integrity, hygiene and customer support.
  • Reduce the risk of accidents involving plant, equipment & PPE (Reporting of hazard spots (minimum 4 per month), near misses etc.).
