Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust are now recruiting into salaried trainee CBT positions. We would like to recruit Trainee Cognitive Behavioural Therapists/High Intensity Therapists into salaried 1-year trainee positions, with the potential of future employment in one of our services upon successful completion of the training. We are looking for people with a commitment to scientific practice with a willingness to learn new skills and a desire to improve the health and wellbeing of people with common mental disorders. If you are successfully short listed you will be required to supply a referee so provide a reference around your clinical competence. This will be prior to interview and will be used as part of the decision making process. This process will take place via email. Talking Therapies provide evidence based interventions to people with anxiety disorders and depression. As part of a national IAPT (Increasing Access to Psychological Therapies) programme Services are committed to supporting recovery for people with anxiety and depression-related problems, including people with long term physical health conditions such as diabetes and respiratory problems.
