About the Role
HGV Technician / Plant Technician Location Manchester Trafford Park, £52,000 - £55,000 per annum, 33 days annual leave plus free car park space and Company pension. Permanent position. HGV Technician Location Manchester M16. Salary £52K - £55k per year. Permanent, Full-time, Company Pension. Company Van provided for breakdowns and site visits. Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning 7am to 1pm.
About the Role Summary
Due to continuing expansion of our family run business supplying road sweeping services to our clients in the construction sector, a position for an HGV/Plant Mechanic has become available to join our team. The job is workshop based between the hours of Monday to Friday (shift time may vary in line with the business needs) and Saturday 7am-1pm on a rota basis. Overtime will sometimes be required. You may also be called out on breakdowns. A competitive salary will be discussed at time of interview depending on skills and experience.
Duties
- As a HGV Technician, work in the engineering team to service and repair HGV trucks and occasional plant machinery and JCBs. You may also be called out on breakdowns, though this is very occasional.
- Must be able to work well in a team and communicate effectively with other staff members.
Experience & Qualifications
- HGV Mechanic: 2 years (required)
- Class 2 Licence (preferred)
- Driving Licence (required)
