HGV Team Leader

This is a hands-on role where no two days look the same. You'll be right at the heart of the operation, keeping things moving and supporting the team when it matters most.Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing Getting stuck into HGV transfers - this is your bread and butter, making sure trailers are where they need to be, when they need to be there. Helping new drivers hit the ground running - showing them the ropes, from routes and trailer swaps to the way we do things day-to-day at AO. Supporting driver development - working alongside our trainers to build skills, raise standards and keep everyone improving. Getting involved in big changes - playing a part in our electric vehicle rollout and supporting trials as we move things forward. Being the go-to person on shift - someone drivers can rely on for help, advice, or just a second pair of eyes. Adding flexibility where it counts - stepping in to support the team during a busy and exciting period of change.
