HGV Driver (Refuse Vehicle)

As a HGV Driver - Refuse Vehicle, you'll play a vital role in keeping our communities clean and tidy. This is a physically demanding role that requires commitment and a strong work ethic.,

• You will be required to drive a HGV Refuse Vehicle
• Collect and empty household or commercial waste bins onto collection vehicles.
• Maintain the cleanliness of collection areas and vehicles (ensuring areas are tidy after collection and treating vehicles with respect)., Northumberland County Council's Staff Bank provides a pool of highly skilled temporary workers who are looking for a long-term placement, or who want to work flexibly within the council. If a team needs support due to sickness, common staff shortages, or general vacancies, they call upon registered bank members to fill available assignments. These can be filled via a long-term assignment for up to 12 months or on an ad hoc basis.

• Class 2 Licence
• Physical fitness - You'll need to be able to walk long distances, be on your feet for extended periods, and lift heavy loads.
• A positive attitude and reliability.
  
  Start time: 7:00am.
• Finish time: Approximately 4:30pm.
• Working days: Monday to Thursday.
• Pay rate: £13.69 - £14.59 per hour.
