HGV Driver - Class 2

We are currently looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C) to join our Transport team in Boston, delivering foodservice products to our customers across Lincolnshire and surrounding areas. This is a multi-drop delivery driver role, where you will be the face of the business, ensuring customers receive their deliveries safely, accurately and on time. About the Role As a HGV Class 2 multi-drop driver, you will be responsible for delivering foodservice products to a wide range of hospitality customers including restaurants, pubs, schools and care homes. This role is hands-on, involving manual handling and customer interactions throughout the day. Typical responsibilities include:

• Driving a Class 2 rigid vehicle on scheduled delivery routes
• Completing multi-drop deliveries to hospitality customers
• Safely unloading goods using appropriate equipment
• Ensuring orders are delivered accurately and on time
• Providing friendly, professional service as the face of Pilgrim Foodservice
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and driver compliance requirements
  
  To be successful in this role you will need:
• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally 2+ years experience as HGV Driver
• A strong work ethic and good attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• The physical capability required for manual handling and foodservice deliveries
• Applicants must also meet the company's insurance requirements, and a driving licence check will be completed prior to interview.

  £17.50 per hour - Potential earnings of over £40,000 per year
