This position is a permanent opportunity.
As a HGV Driver (Class 2), you will be expected to:
+ Check and maintain the vehicle daily, keeping oil levels correct and reporting findings.
+ Keep the vehicle clean and tidy.
+ Be flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned such as working in the yard/transfer station and helping load skips with debris
+ Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
+ Drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law.
+ Take part in any training required and to adhere to procedures, method statements, toolbox talks, site instructions and disciplinary procedures.
+ Monitor equipment and report malfunctions to supervisor or manager and to perform routine preventative maintenance on plant machines and equipment.
+ Ensure all PPE equipment issued is always accounted for and kept safe and secure and to use/wear and apply all PPE issued by Carroll Waste.
+ Meet appraisal targets and support the delivery and achievement of overall business objectives.

+ Adhere with the Health and Safety at Work Act to take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts and omissions.
