Full Job Description
As a Walking Floor HGV Driver at Ashcourt, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly and safely. You'll be contracted to 40 hours per week, with generous overtime paid at time and a half for any hours worked beyond 45.
Your day-to-day will include:
Operating your vehicle safely, professionally, and efficiently
Completing long or short-distance runs as required
Working with your line manager to plan routes and schedules
Adapting routes using traffic reports where needed
Carrying out thorough pre-use vehicle defect and cleanliness checks
Completing proof of delivery using a tablet
Keeping your cab clean, organised, and road-ready
What you'll need:
A valid Class 1 Licence
Tachograph and CPC qualification
Minimum 1 years experience driving walking floor vehicles
No more than 6 points on your licence
Valid right to work in the UK
