Are you an experienced HGV Driver looking for a rewarding role where your work directly benefits local communities? At Gedling Borough Council, we are continuing to transform and modernise our Waste Services. We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious and customer-focused HGV Driver (Class 2) to help deliver essential environmental services across the borough. What You'll Be Doing
- Driving and operating a Category C (Class 2) refuse collection vehicle.
- Working closely with collection crews to deliver safe and efficient services.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with road safety regulations.
Current Category C (Class 2) LGV licence. - Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Good understanding of highway and operational health and safety practices.
- Experience driving large vehicles in a professional environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a physically active role.
