Shift Details: 5 on, 2 off; 6 on, 1 off; 48 hours a week; at least one permanent working day will be during the weekend.

Candidate Requirements & Responsibilities

• Enjoy driving HGV and providing excellent customer service.


• Be the face of Johnsons and hold a valid Category C licence, CPC card, and Tacho card.


• Assist with distribution of linen from the Birmingham laundry facility as a Class 2 HGV driver.


• Delivery and collection of clean and soiled linen.


• Unload vehicles on return to the depot.


• Collect soiled linen lists and hand into the service office.


• Record delivery times/windows and secure signatures on delivery notes.


• Maintain daily communication with customers and the office.


• Liaise regularly with the Transport Manager.


• Uniform and PPE are provided.

Shift Pattern & Requirements

• Flexible shift patterns with start times between 3 am and 12 pm.


• Must have a digital tacho card, class C driving license, and be fully CPC qualified.


• Experience in customer-facing, multi-drop roles preferred.


• Willing to work weekends and be flexible with working hours.
