HGV Driver

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Rhondda Cynon Taf to assist with the appointment of a HGV Driver, on a 1.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration., The HGV Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy goods vehicles to support local authority services. This role involves transporting goods, waste, or materials, ensuring compliance with road safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of service delivery., Operate HGV vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any faults or maintenance issues
Ensure timely collection and delivery of goods/materials as per schedule
Assist with loading and unloading where required
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and working hours
Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times
Essentials

Valid HGV (Category C or C+E) driving licence
Proven experience as an HGV Driver
Good knowledge of road safety regulations and transport laws
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong time management and reliability
