Full Job Description
- Drive vehicles with due care and attention and a respect for traffic law, Company policy and procedure
- Fully comply with driver hours and regulations
- Ensure vehicles are maintained to a high standard in line with health and safety, legal requirements and Company process
- Carefully load and unload cages at store with regard to personal safety as instructed in the Company health and safety manual
- Carry out regular and thorough vehicle checks
- Responsible to ensure that deliveries are made on time and at the right place, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
Valid C+E Driving Licence - Current and fully completed Driver Certificate of Professional Competence card (DCPC) is essential
- Minimum 25 years of age with a minimum of 12 months' experience in a C+E role for insurance purposes
- Understanding and working knowledge of WTR; EU driver hours and working time rules
- Task orientated approach
- Health and safety awareness
- Pass internal driver assessment
- Minimal infringements
£22.65 per hour (plus 19% night shift premium paid between the hours of 10pm - 6am where applicable) - Both Days and Night shifts are available
