Full Job Description
TradeChoice Carpet & Flooring is looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our warehouse and distribution team in Bristol.
As one of our drivers, you'll be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries to our branch network, ensuring stock is delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. This is a Monday to Friday role with no weekend working, offering a great work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete multi-drop deliveries
- Safely load and unload your vehicle
- Carry out delivery checks and obtain proof of delivery
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects
- Ensure compliance with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and tachograph legislation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and roadworthy vehicle
- Report any accidents or incidents in line with company procedures
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good knowledge of UK road transport legislation.
- A safe, professional driving record.
- Ability to carry out manual handling and lift heavy items.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- A positive, reliable attitude and team-focused approach.
Monday to Friday working
