HGV Class 1 Driver - Westbury Logistics LTD - Southall

Westbury Logistics Ltd is seeking reliable, experienced and professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for day, night and weekend shifts. The role involves general haulage, trunking, traction and trailer work, with regular and ad-hoc opportunities available.,

• Safely operate HGV Class 1 articulated vehicles.
• Complete trunking, general haulage and trailer movements.
• Carry out daily vehicle walkaround checks and report any defects.
• Comply with drivers' hours, tachograph and Working Time Regulations.
• Complete delivery paperwork and proof of delivery documentation.
• Maintain professional standards when dealing with customers and transport teams.
• Ensure vehicles and loads are operated safely and legally.
  
  Valid UK Category C+E driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Legal right to work in the UK, subject to satisfactory checks.
• Good knowledge of UK road transport legislation, drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English for safety instructions, documentation and operational requirements.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach.
• Flexibility to work day, night and weekend shifts when required.
• Satisfactory driving licence checks, including endorsements and penalty points.
• Previous HGV Class 1 experience is preferred.
Pre-employment checks Successful applicants will be required to provide proof of identity and right to work, driving licence details for DVLA verification, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card details, and relevant employment history and references where requested. Applicants must also complete company induction and safety documentation and meet applicable insurance requirements.
