HGV Class 1 Driver

We're looking for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Culina Chilled & Fresh team in Washington, supporting our Chilled operation and delivering to key retail customers across the UK., This is a permanent role offering full-time stability for HGV Class 1 drivers who will be responsible for RDC, Farms and Packhouse deliveries. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards. You'll be joining a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards are valued every day.,

• We have a variety of roles available including Night Outs, Trunking, Scotland Return Runs and local store deliveries.
• Complete nationwide deliveries of palletised goods to Regional Distribution Centres, Farms and Packhouses
• Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and keep them updated on delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.
• Follow company procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects correctly and take responsibility for your unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.
• Maintain a professional standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.

Shift patterns available
• Sunday to Thursday (Start window 00:01 - 04:00)
• Tuesday to Saturday (Start window 02:00 - 06:00, 04:00 - 08:00, 14:00 - 18:00)
• Thursday to Monday (Start window 02:00 - 06:00, 04:00 - 08:00, 12:00 - 16:00)
• Friday to Monday (Start window 00:01 - 04:00, 08:00 - 12:00)
• Friday to Tuesday (Start Window 04:00 - 08:00_

• Pay rates range from £13.50 - £21.91 per hour depending on shift, plus opportunity for overtime and subsistence allowances, In return, we offer:
