Full Job Description
- Deliver exceptional customer care to ensure maximum satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe driving standard by adhering to speed limits, traffic signs, and parking restrictions.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods, following planned sequences unless otherwise authorised.
- Communicate any delays or issues with the transport office during your routes.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including proof of deliveries and uplifts, in accordance with agreed procedures.
- Obtain signatures from authorised customer representatives for all deliveries and collections.
- Safely deliver and collect goods, returning them to the site as instructed by the Manager.
- Accurately use and complete digital tachograph charts, recording hours, breaks, and working time.
- Conduct daily vehicle walkaround checks and maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Ensure the security of the vehicle and load, using appropriate safety measures.
- Report any risks, incidents, or security concerns immediately.
- Adhere to Health & Safety policies and present a smart appearance, including company uniform and PPE.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work accurately and independently.
- Excellent customer care and loyalty skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks. Personal Attributes:
- Flexible approach to work and hours.
- Smart appearance with a good attendance record.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a confident and professional demeanour. Education, Knowledge, and Experience Required:
- Minimum of 2 years' Class 1 driving experience.
- Proven ability to use initiative and work independently.
- Excellent customer care skills with attention to detail.
