Full Job Description
A great opportunity has arisen to join us as a Healthcare Assistant on our John Stacey Ward, Paulton Memorial Hospital, Bristol. You will join a welcoming multidisciplinary team where our services run 7 days per week, offering full time and part time positions for flexibility. We provide general medical and stroke rehabilitation for those stepping down from acute trusts, as well as supporting primary care colleagues with admission avoidance and stepping up from the community. Responsibilities include patient-centred care, supporting daily care under guidance of a registered practitioner, promoting patient independence, clear communication, and accurate documentation. Essential qualifications include good general education, Care Certificate or willingness to achieve, experience working under supervision, and delivering patient-focused care. Desirable qualifications include NHS experience, experience in an acute or urgent health care setting, and basic wound care knowledge.
