Full Job Description

1.1 Working underthe supervision of the qualified nursing staff, the HCSW will participate and supportthemembersofthemulti-disciplinaryteamindeliveringhighqualitypatientcare.

1.2 Assist with the induction, supervision, and training of Band 2 HCSWs

1.3 Band 3 HCSWs will be expected to carry out specific skills depending upon the requirements of the clinical area.

3 General

3.1 To haveresponsibilityforthehealth, safetyand welfareof self andothers,andto comply at all times with the requirements of the Health & Safety regulations.

3.7 To be familiar with the Patient Administration System (PAS) and Electronic Patient Record(EPR)and anyothercomputerized systemintegralto therunningof thewardor clinical area.

3.8 To reportallaccidents,incidents,and complaintsasperTrustpolicyand toparticipate in their investigation and management.

3.9 Toattendannualmandatorytrainingin:
