Job Requirements / Description
Loneliness Companions - Farnham - Guaranteed Hours
Guardian Angel Carers have proudly served our community with compassion, trust and dignity for 15 years. With exciting plans for continued growth into 2026, we are looking for caring, thoughtful and dedicated Loneliness Companions to join our exceptional team of Healthcare Professionals in and around the Farnham area.
Because we provide care directly in our customers' homes, a Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own car is essential.
Pay Rates: £15.00ph (Monday to Friday) Evening Shifts £16.00ph - | £17.00ph (Weekends) | 40p per business mile
Hours: Full-Time and Part-Time hours available. We can also offer Evening only hours working 5pm to 9.30pm.
No experience? No problem. Whether you are new to care or bring previous experience as a Care Assistant or Carer, we will support you every step of the way.
We understand that joining a new company can feel daunting, so we have strengthened our hourly rates, created flexible shift patterns to support a healthy work/life balance, and built an incredibly supportive office team who work hard to ensure your travel time between customers is kept to a minimum.
What you will do as a Loneliness Companion:
- Social Visits
- Companionship
- Meal Preparation
- Medication Management
- Pharmacy and Shopping trips
- Elements of Personal Care
What you will need to be a successful Loneliness Companion:
- A cheerful presence and a warm smile
- The ability to brighten someone's day
- A sense of humour
- Be great at making a decent cup of tea
- Have a full Driving Licence and have access to your own car
