In this role, you will be on the frontline of care, helping clients with complex mental health needs manage their wellbeing, regain independence, and thrive in the comfort of their own homes. You are willing to work flexible hours (between 08:00 and 20:00), including some evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to support our clients when they need us most., If you live in West Kent (Maidstone, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks or Tunbridge Wells), able to drive and keen to work in a team to develop a range of rehabilitation skills, please apply.
  • This role is suitable for anyone wanting to extend existing support worker skills into a rehab setting and work in the community. It may also be helpful to psychology or other graduates wanting to gain practical experience following on from university.   • You will work as part of a Community Rehabilitation Team , focusing on the direct needs of service users.
  • Under the guidance and supervision of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, you will provide support and give time to an allocated group of service users in order to promote their recovery and maintain them in their community environment. You will be promoting and facilitating therapeutic activity, promoting self-care and supporting with activities of daily living.
  • You will support service users to identify their needs and to assist Clinicians to plan, implement and evaluate individual care plans.
  • You will be working to the recovery model to support the service user to work towards their identified goals.
  • The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
