Full Job Description

This is an intersting job for a healthcare support worker to provide direct, compassionate support to patients receiving care related to gynaecology, early pregnancy, and women-specific medical needs. The core of the role is to support the registered nurse and/or consultants, and to maintain dignity and compasion for every woman receiving treatment., Direct patient care - with observations, urinalysis and assisting mobility where required. Supporting clinical procedures - preparing rooms and equipment, assisting the nurse and/or consultant during examinations such as EPAU, Colposcopy and Hysteroscopy. Maintaining a safe environment - Keeping clinical areas clean, restocking supplies, and following infection-control procedures. Compassionate care - supporting women undergoing gynaecoloigal procedures, ensuring dignity, privacy and emotional reassurance. Team collaboration - Working closely with nurses, doctors, midwives, and allied health professionals to deliver seamless care.
