Full Job Description

We are looking for a hard-working person to join our deep clean team. You will be based at Kendray Hospital in Barnsley but work trust wide, deep cleaning our sites. The role involves hand and machinery cleaning of hospital premises and wards. Experience would be great, but training will be provided for the right candidate. We use trust vehicles to get around our many sites, so a full clean driving licence is essential. Shifts are normally Monday to Friday but will also include some weekends and Bank Holidays. Shifts are normally 6AM 2PM although we do work as late as 3PM 11PM in certain areas. Shift times will occasionally change at short notice. Flexibility is key in this role.

Duties include

Hand and machine internal deep cleaning of trust properties.

Outbreak infection control cleans.

Using mechanical cleaning equipment such as scrubbing machines, carpet cleaners, high vacuums and steam cleaners.
