Healthcare Business Intelligence Analyst

South Tyneside Health Collaboration (STHC) is looking for a Healthcare Business Intelligence Analyst to play a key role in developing a data-driven culture across our organisation. Working with a wide range of healthcare datasets, including EMIS and NHS data sources, you will design dashboards, analyse performance, identify trends and opportunities, and provide intelligence that supports strategic decision-making and service improvement.

You'll work closely with operational, clinical and leadership teams, helping to shape the future of primary care through innovative reporting, business intelligence solutions and actionable insights. If you enjoy solving complex problems, working with data, and making a real difference, we'd love to hear from you., Assess business needs for data and analytics and facilitate the implementation of an effective system to bring data together from multiple sources.

Develop, design, and maintain BI reports and dashboards that visualise data in an insightful and user-friendly manner.

Analyse and understand the data and provide insight and analysis through clear visual, writ-ten, and verbal communication.

Data modelling - create and manage data models in BI to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Data integration - collaborate with stakeholder teams to access, clean, and integrate data from various sources.

Performance optimisation - identify and implement optimisations for data visualisation and reporting to enhance efficiency.

Provide sector and competitor benchmarking.

Data governance - ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry regulations.

User training and support - train end-users on how to effectively use BI reports and provide ongoing support and guidance.

Supporting, maintaining, and refining existing reports and dashboards, working closely with data owners to ensure these are fit-for-purpose and streamlined.
