Healthcare Assistants -B12- Peterborough

You will work under the direction of a registered nurse to provide safe, patient-centred care while helping to maintain a clean, organised and welcoming ward environment. What we are looking for,

• Support patients with personal care, comfort and dignity
• Assist with observations (e.g. blood glucose monitoring, vital signs) and report changes promptly
• Help with nutrition, hydration and mobility
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the team
• Provide reassurance to patients and relatives, responding calmly and professionally
• Ensure the ward environment is clean, safe and well maintained
• Work within clinics or ward areas, sometimes independently, within your competence and Trust policies (including chaperoning)
  
  A caring, reliable and motivated individual
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
