Full Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support a young lady in her 20s living in Dudley. She enjoys a wide range of hobbies, including listening to K-Pop, ABBA, and Bruno Mars, spending time on her iPad, and getting creative with arts and crafts. She loves being around people and values meaningful engagement throughout her day, so we are seeking carers who are enthusiastic, patient, and keen to build a genuine connection while supporting her to enjoy the activities she loves. Responsibilities will include providing personal care, supporting clinical interventions, and encouraging participation in meaningful activities that promote independence, wellbeing, and quality of life. Weekends may also involve accompanying her on outings in her adapted vehicle, supporting her to access and enjoy activities within the community. In the evening, you will ensure a calm and comfortable transition to bedtime while maintaining a safe and reassuring environment., The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan. The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible. Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained

  • A minimum of 3 months care experience
  • Confident in supporting with medication, personal care, and moving and handling
  • Clear communication skills
  • A full UK driving licence, with confidence driving an adapted vehicle
  • Pet friendly two dogs in the property, 3 months previous care experience
