Healthcare Assistants

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join a supportive and friendly care team, providing 1:1 and 2:1 support for a fun-loving 23-year-old young woman within her family home. This is a highly rewarding role where you will build a meaningful relationship and play an important part in supporting her to live life to the fullest in a safe, positive, and engaging environment. Every day is different, and you will support her with both clinical care and enjoyable daily activities. She particularly enjoys singing, baking, animals, especially dogs and horses and Disney. You will support her across a variety of settings, including her family home during both day and night shifts, at college, during community outings, and throughout respite stays. This varied support will help her maintain a consistent routine while enjoying a range of activities and environments. This is a chance to make a real and lasting difference in someones life every day.,

• Providing personal care with dignity and respect
• Supporting with clinical interventions
• Assisting with moving and handling
• Administering medication
• PEG feeding
• Oral suctioning
• Encouraging engagement in hobbies and daily activities
  
  Minimum 3 months care experience
• Confidence with medication administration, personal care, and moving & handling
• Strong communication skills
• A compassionate, reliable, and proactive approach
• Pet Friendly (family home includes a dog)
