Full Job Description

As a Healthcare Assistant, you'll work alongside registered Theatre Practitioners and the wider multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective and compassionate care. You'll help ensure theatres are prepared, patients are supported and procedures run smoothly, all whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, dignity and safety., + Supporting direct patient care under the supervision of registered Theatre Practitioners.
+ Preparing operating theatres, equipment and supplies for procedures.
+ Assisting with patient transfers to and from theatre, ensuring comfort and safety.
+ Supporting theatre procedures, including assisting with instrument preparation.
+ Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and safety within theatre areas.
+ Recording relevant patient information and observations accurately.
+ Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
+ Reporting concerns, incidents or changes promptly to senior staff.
+ Attending mandatory training and engaging in ongoing development.

+ GCSE, or equivalent, in Maths and English.

Horder Healthcare is a leading specialist healthcare provider, recognised for clinical excellence and a strong patient-first culture. We are currently seeking a Healthcare Assistant, Theatres to join our dedicated theatre team at The McIndoe Centre in East Grinstead.

Salary: up to £26,071.50 per annum, depending on qualifications (NVQ) and experience

We have assessed this role and it does not meet the criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route.
