Healthcare Assistant- Sexual Health

The role of a Sexual Health Healthcare Assistant involves supporting a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, inclusive, and high-quality sexual health services in Nuneaton. The position requires a compassionate individual who is comfortable handling sensitive health needs confidentially and respectfully. The role includes working alongside experienced clinical colleagues, undertaking delegated clinical activities, and supporting patients throughout their care. It involves varied tasks such as phlebotomy, urinalysis, pregnancy testing, specimen collection, and microscopy after appropriate training and competency assessments. The role ensures patient confidentiality, privacy, and dignity in a safe, inclusive, and non-judgemental environment, requiring escalation of questions outside the scope of the role to registered clinicians.

You will support the delivery of safe, inclusive and high-quality sexual health services to a diverse patient population across Coventry and Warwickshire. This is a varied and rewarding Band 3 role in which you will work alongside experienced clinical colleagues, undertake a range of delegated clinical activities and help patients feel informed, respected and supported throughout their care.
