Full Job Description

Role-Specific Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes or care settings
  • Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and toileting
  • Support mobility, repositioning, and safe transfers
  • Administer medication, oxygen, stoma care, PEG/JEJ feeding, and other clinical support tasks as required
  • Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping
  • Support communication including speech, reading, writing, and sign language (where applicable)
  • Encourage participation in social activities and outings
  • Monitor and report changes in health or behaviour to senior staff
  • Maintain accurate care documentation using basic IT systems
  • Adhere to all health & safety and safeguarding procedures
  • Duties include,
  • Deliver compassionate, person-centred care in line with care plans
  • Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily activities
  • Promote independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing
  • Maintain accurate care documentation
  • Build trusting relationships with clients and families
  • Follow all health & safety regulations and company policies

    Caring nature and genuine desire to help others
  • 6+ months care experience (essential) Complex Care Experience A compassionate, patient, and dependable approach Strong verbal and written English skills Ability to work both independently and within a team Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred) Equality Statement Due to the nature of the roles and the gender of the clients, female carers are required for these positions in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9, Part 1).   • Minimum 6 months UK care experience
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable
  • Strong spoken and written English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic IT skills for documentation

  • Experience with children or complex needs preferred but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle preferred
