Healthcare Assistant - Mid Sussex Division

Why not consider joining us as a Healthcare Assistant within the Mid Sussex Division of Modality Partnership., We are seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our team and work across Ship Street Surgery and Judges Close Surgery on a part-time basis (minimum 25 hours per week). This is far more than a traditional support role you will be a vital member of the nursing and practice team, contributing directly to the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate patient care while supporting service efficiency and quality improvement., This is a hands-on, patient-facing clinical support role working closely with the nursing and wider multidisciplinary team to promote health, prevent illness, and support the ongoing management of patients across the practice.

You will carry out a range of clinical tasks including patient health checks, observations, phlebotomy, urine testing, and ECG recording where trained, supporting both routine and long-term condition monitoring. The role also involves assisting with vaccination programmes, wound care, suture and staple removal where appropriate, and providing patients with health promotion advice to support self-care and wellbeing., We continuously innovate to improve patient care and staff experience. In this role, you will work closely with the healthcare team to support consistent ways of working and improve patient satisfaction.
