Healthcare Assistant and Medical Needs Coordinator

We are seeking a caring, organised, and proactive Health Care Assistant and Medical Needs Coordinator to join our school. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the safe and effective management of pupils' medical needs across the school. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of administering medication, maintain accurate medical records, and working within established healthcare procedures and systems and best practice in supporting children and young people with medical needs. They must be computer literate and confident using electronic record-keeping systems to record medication administration, monitor stock levels, and maintain pupil healthcare information. The post holder will work closely with pupils, families, nursing services, school staff, and external professionals to ensure the highest standards of medical care and support are maintained. This role will have a significant and positive impact on pupils and the school.
