Healthcare Assistant - Marie Curie STARS (Supportive and End of Life

We are recruiting for Healthcare Assistants to join our STARS (Supportive and End of Life Care Service) in Liverpool, North-West., As a Healthcare Assistant with our pioneering STARS service, you will support patients in their own homes and communities across the whole of Liverpool. This is an opportunity to join a successful, forward-thinking service that is helping shape the future of palliative and end-of-life care, both in the North-West and nationally.

Every shift brings the opportunity to make a difference across Liverpool. You will visit up to 10 patients, deliver compassionate care in the community and work independently with the support of an experienced multidisciplinary team.

The care and support we provide is highly valued by the people we care for and their loved ones, but at present we are only reaching around 10% of dying people at the end of life.Right now, one in four people in the UK with a terminal illness, do not get the care or support they deserve at the end of their lives.
