Healthcare Assistant - Hospice (Bank)

In this rewarding role, our HCAs work alongside registered nurses to provide outstanding person-centred care to patients with life-limiting illnesses, ensuring they receive the highest levels of comfort, dignity and support. Hours to be worked flexibly including weekends, bank holidays, evenings/nights on a shift rota basis.

• Please note: we are not part of the NHS, and as such we do not hold a licence to enable visa sponsorship, Our Healthcare Assistants support the registered nursing team in providing the care and support to our patients on the Inpatient Unit at our Hospice. Working as part of the designated care team, they support the registered nurses in promoting and providing patient centred care, ensuring at all times the comfort, dignity and privacy of the patients in our care., You will be required to deliver a high standard of direct patient care, assisting the patient in all activities of daily living, with both direct and indirect supervision as delegated by the qualified nurse.
  
  You will be qualified to Level 2 Health and Social Care Certificate and have previous care experience. The role will be part of a dedicated team of professionals, who will also be able to work under their own initiative to ensure the highest standard of care. A can-do attitude with strong communication skills will be required.
