Full Job Description

We are looking for compassionate, patient, and engaging Support workers to provide dedicated 1:1 care for a bright and lovable 9-year-old boy within his family home. He is non-verbal and communicates using a Smartbox. He enjoys music, games, YouTube, sensory activities, spending time on his iPad, and attending hydrotherapy sessions. He loves interaction and thrives on meaningful engagement, so we are looking for someone fun, attentive, and able to build a positive relationship with both him and his family. You will provide person-centred care and support with daily tasks such as personal care and mobility, while remaining vigilant to his clinical care needs as required. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference while supporting a child with complex care needs in a safe, nurturing, and family-centred environment., The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan. The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible. Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained

  • Minimum 3 months care experience
  • Confidence with medication administration, personal care, and moving & handling
  • Clear communication skills
  • SEN experience is preferred
  • Full UK manual driving licence required, 3 months previous care experience
