Introduction

Join our friendly team at Grasmere Care Home as a Healthcare Assistant Apprentice. You will gain hands-on experience supporting older people with their daily needs while completing a recognised qualification. What You'll Do

The apprentice will support residents with personal care, mobility, meals and daily activities while promoting dignity, independence and well-being. They will communicate with residents and families, maintain accurate care records, follow care plans, and work safely alongside experienced care staff.



Training Outcome

Following successful completion of the apprenticeship and probationary period, if a suitable position is available within the team, we will discuss the possibility of permanent part-time or full-time employment. There may also be opportunities for further training and career development in health and social care.

Working Arrangements

Working Week: Working on a varied rota across all days of the week, including weekends. Shifts include early shifts (8am–2pm), late shifts (2pm–9pm) and long shifts (8am–9pm). Rotas will be arranged in advance.

Expected Duration: 1 Year 6 Months
