Full Job Description
- Medication administration (including PEG/NG where trained)
- Tracheostomy care and suctioning (where applicable)
- Manual handling and safe transfers
- Behaviour support and de-escalation
- Monitoring and reporting health changes
- Providing emotional support and companionship Duties include,
- Deliver compassionate, person-centred care in line with care plans
- Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily activities
- Promote independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing
- Maintain accurate care documentation
- Build trusting relationships with clients and families
- Follow all health & safety regulations and company policies
Caring nature and genuine desire to help others 6+ months care experience (essential) Knowledge of epilepsy & challenging behaviour (preferred) A compassionate, patient, and dependable approach Strong verbal and written English skills Ability to work both independently and within a team Basic IT skills for completing documentation Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred) - Competitive hourly rates (£12.71 - £14.87)
