We are looking for a highly motivated compassionate and caring individual that is looking to join our dynamic and successful Sexual Health Service within Derby city and County clinics. The main duties of the role include the following, supporting the clinicians within the clinics . Caring for patients with empathy and compassion, including chaperoning, taking blood, Microscopy, supporting the patients with taking samples and swabs.

• Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of a clean and safe clinical area.
• To actively promote and signpost sexual health services and general health promotion services.As part of this post the expected to work flexibly work across Derby City and County clinics.
• Understand the patient need and respond accordingly by adapting to a variety of clinical presentations.
• Working effectively with a multidisciplinary team including doctors, nurses, HCA colleagues, Sexual Health Promotion and senior leaders to ensure safe and effective care.
  
  Our purpose is to provide community health services to a patient population of over one million people in Derbyshire and Derby, as part of Joined Up Care Derbyshire.
We employ around 4,200 substantive staff, caring for patients in 11 community hospitals and more than 30 health centres, as well as in clinics, GP practices, schools, care homes and, increasingly, in people's own homes and via virtual consultations.
