Shifts: Full time & Part Time - nights 8:30pm-8am

About This Role

We are looking for a female Healthcare Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a 4-year-old boy in his family home.

He has cerebral palsy, global developmental delay and is non-verbal.

We re looking for someone who has a genuine passion for working with children, who is happy to get down on the floor, play and really engage with him.

He enjoys watching Peppa Pig, playing with sensory toys and spending time on his play mat, where he loves kicking and rolling around. He also enjoys spending time at home with his family.

You ll need to be caring, attentive and switched on, with a fun and engaging approach to provide positive 1:1 support and help him enjoy his time at home.

If you re an experienced healthcare assistant who loves working with children and wants to make a real difference to a young child and his family, we d love to hear from you!

Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.

Our client has requested Female care staff to join their team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

  • Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and child-centred care.
  • Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
  • Hold a full UK drivers Licence with access to own vehicle.

We do not hold a sponsorship licence and are therefore unable to consider applicants requiring sponsorship.
