Full Job Description
We are looking for a caring, motivated and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly nursing team at Central Surgery. This is a varied and rewarding role supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care within a busy GP practice., Working as part of our multidisciplinary team, you will undertake a range of clinical duties including venepuncture, blood pressure monitoring, ECGs, health checks, wound care support and long-term condition reviews, while ensuring patients receive compassionate and professional care. The role also includes carrying out clinical room checks, maintaining stock levels within clinical areas, ordering clinical supplies, testing and processing patient samples in accordance with practice protocols, and ensuring equipment and consumables are available, in date and ready for use.
- Has experience working in a healthcare setting
- Holds the Care Certificate (or equivalent)
- Is confident communicating with patients and colleagues
- Works well as part of a team and can use their initiative
- Is organised, reliable and committed to delivering excellent patient care, Professionalism and teamwork
