Full-Time & Part-Time | Night Shifts Shifts Available:

  • Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 10:00pm - 8:00am
  • Friday: 10:30pm - 8:00am

About the Role

Apollo Home Healthcare is recruiting a Female Healthcare Assistant to provide specialist complex care within a home setting. You will support a young person with complex health needs, delivering high-quality, person-centred care throughout the night to promote their comfort, safety, and wellbeing. This is a highly rewarding role where consistency, patience, and attention to detail make a genuine difference to both the client and their family. The client enjoys sensory-based activities, including water play, listening to classical music, and story time. A calm, reassuring approach and the ability to build a trusting relationship are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing overnight complex care and ongoing clinical monitoring.
  • Supporting epilepsy management.
  • Performing oral suctioning.
  • Providing stoma, gastrostomy, and jejunostomy care.
  • Monitoring oxygen saturation levels.
  • Delivering personal care with dignity and respect.
  • Assisting with safe moving and handling.
  • Providing communication support and emotional reassurance.

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 3 months' care experience in a home care or care setting.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Strong communication and observational skills.
  • A compassionate, reliable, and patient approach to care
